Westfield – Walter Harold Goshea, 89, passed away peacefully Thursday October 14, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Holyoke to Walter H. and Isabele (Booth) Goshea, he was a graduate of Holyoke Trade School. For 63 years, Walter resided in Westfield. Walter was employed as a Lithographer for over 45 years with the former Philip Hano Business in Springfield for many years. He was an avid photographer and pool player and love his vegetable garden, reading and playing pitch. He kept busy over the years as an avid woodworker and made many dear friends with his time spent at the Holyoke Senior Center. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Vivienne A. (Morin) Goshea in 2007 after 55 wonderful years of marriage. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Ronald, Kenneth, Maynard and Robert Goshea and Gail Stone. Walter is survived by his loving children, Ann C. Pidgeon and her husband Larry, Susan Hillard, Walter D. Goshea and his wife Helene, Sally J. Goshea Cushing and her husband Scott, Penny L. Moos and her husband Joseph and Bruce A. Goshea and his wife Traci; his sister, Mildred Rank; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. All services and burial in Precious Blood Cemetery will be private for the family.
