Chicopee – Raymond Joseph Hebert, Jr., 79, passed away Thursday September 16, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Holyoke to Raymond J., Sr. and Rita (Tanguay) Hebert, he was a graduate of South Hadley High School. Raymond was employed in Research and Development at Texon in South Hadley for many years until his retirement.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Gail Hebert in 1993 and by his second wife, Lorraine Hebert in 2019. He is survived by his three children, Lisa Wilson and her husband Chester, Scott Hebert and Hope Quinlan, and Amy Foster and her husband Jeremy, all of Chicopee; his four siblings, Bruce Hebert and his wife Judy   of Ludlow, Gail Kowalewski and her husband Michael of Agawam, Gary Hebert and his husband Numa Navarro of Estero, FL and Larry Hebert and his wife Kathy of South Hadley; many dear grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, several nieces and nephews and extended family Michelle Kominski and Brian Brunelle.

Family and friends are invited to meet for calling hours on Tuesday September 21, 2021 from 4 – 7 PM at the Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., in Holyoke. Raymond’s funeral service will be Wednesday September 22nd at 10:00 AM at the Messier Funeral Home, followed by committal services in Notre Dame Cemetery in South Hadley.
