Yvonne Roy 1911 � 2009 NEWBURYPORT � Yvonne (Lefebvre) Roy, 97, died Monday, January 5, 2009 at Country Manor Rehab in Newburyport, MA, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Auburn, Maine on November 14, 1911 to the late Joseph and Obeline (Senecal) Lefebvre. Yvonne attended schools in Easthampton and worked for the former Dorothy Dodd�s for fifteen years. She lived in Holyoke for 45 years before moving to Newburyport. She was the loving wife of the late Arcade Roy, who died in 1993. She is survived by her three children, Claire Lawrence and her husband George of Newburyport, Ronald Roy and his wife Janet of Worcester and Robert Roy and his wife Maureen of Stuarts Draft, VA, twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Yvonne was predeceased by her brothers, Wilfred, Adelard, Cyril and Edmond and her sister Regina. There will be a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, at Blessed Sacrament Church in Holyoke. Burial will follow in St. Jerome Cemetery in Holyoke. Calling hours will precede the Liturgy from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St, Holyoke.
