William D. Keighley

HOLYOKE- William Keighley, 62, a lifelong Holyoke resident passed away on Wednesday, September, 4, 2013 at home. He was born in Holyoke on June 29, 1951 a son of the late James and Peggy (Wheatley) Kieghley and graduated from Holyoke High School. William was a pressman for many years at National Blank Book/ Avery Dennison Co. and retired after completing over 30 years of service. He enjoyed spending time at the beach and in the outdoors. William especially liked Look Park picnics with his family and beach time at Hampton and Misquamicut. He was a patriotic man, a proud Republican and was a member of the National Republican Congressional Committee and member of the Elk�s Lodge #902. He is survived by his 2 sons, Tod Nolet of Springfield; James Keighley of Holyoke; 3 daughters, Wendy Peck of Wales, MA; Jennifer Keighley of Chicopee; Jaime Keighley of Warwick, RI; his brother, Robert �Bobby� Keighley of DE; 13 grandchildren and one great grandson. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 from 4-7PM at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke, MA 01040. His funeral will begin on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 9:15AM from the funeral home and be followed by a service at 10:30AM in St. Paul�s Episcopal Church, 485 Appleton St., Holyoke, MA 01040. The burial will be in Forestdale Cemetery. If friends desire, memorial donations in William�s name may be made to the Holyoke Soldiers Home, 110 Cherry St., Holyoke, MA 01040.
