Walter L. Okraska

Walter Lawrence Okraska, lifelong resident of Holyoke, died on Friday, February 9, 2024, at Mont Marie in Holyoke. He was born in Holyoke in 1953, a son of Alexander Sr. and Wanda (Wojtowicz) Okraska. Walter was the youngest of 7 siblings and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his brother, Daniel Okraska and his wife Joanne, sisters, Christine Rath and partner, Frank Niemiecz, Wanda Lukas and husband, Richard, and Pamela Jakubasz and husband Steven, numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Alexander Okraska, Jr. and Richard Okraska, Sr. and his wife, Harriet.
