SOUTH HADLEY- Theresa (Dugre) Deslippe, 75, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. She was born on June 6, 1940 a daughter of the late Leo and Theresa (Remy) Dugre and educated in local schools. She was married to William Deslippe for over 53 years before his passing in 2013. Theresa worked for many years at New England Archives and retired as a project manager. She was also the owner of T&B Ceramics in South Hadley for many years. She is survived by her son, William “Bill” Deslippe and his wife Donna of Granby; her two daughters, Deb Barnes of Granby; Sandie Deslippe of Enfield; 6 grandchildren, Adria Hall, Nathan Barnes, Heather Deslippe, Dale Deslippe, Emilia Deslippe, Alora Barnes; 8 great grandchildren, Dylan Barnes, Zakary Barnes, Haylee Mae Barnes, Annabel Deslippe, Delaney Copeland, Alexia Hall, Dean Hall, and Connor Hall. She also leaves he sister in law, Barbara Chatel of Holyoke as well as several nephews, nieces and cousins. Visiting hours will be Friday, July 10, 2015 from 4-7PM at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke. A funeral home celebration will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 10AM and be followed by the burial in West Street Cemetery, Granby.
