NEW SALEM- Soksot Chham, 37, of New Salem, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. He was born on June 4, 1981, a son of Hang Lim. Soksot most recently worked in partnership at the Stone n’ Sky Lodge in New Salem and also worked for his many grandmothers in Wendell and the surrounding towns. Prior to that, he worked in liquor distribution as a CDL driver for many years. He will be missed by his children, Leylanie Chham and Malia Chham; his siblings, Layah Monteiro of Westfield, Amari Champion of Easthampton; Sokny Chham of South Hadley; Jonathan Chham of Westfield; Sokkimeng Chham of Westfield; his mother, Hang Lim of Amherst; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
