Rose A. Hebert

HOLYOKE- Rose A. Hebert, 91, passed away on November 26, 2012 in Agawam. She was a longtime Holyoke resident and a communicant of Our Lady of the Cross for over 50 years. Rose was born in Southbridge, MA on September 17, 1921 a daughter of the late Joseph and Eliza (Ballard) Rodrigue. Primarily a homemaker she enjoyed raising her family, sewing and crafts. She was predeceased by her husband Normand Hebert in December of 1980 and three of her sons, Raymond in 2006, Roger in 2007 and Roland in 2012 who now await her in the kingdom of heaven. Rose is survived by her daughter, Rita Nicholls and her husband Bill of Blandford; two sons, Richard Hebert and his wife Ann of Easthampton; Robert Hebert and his wife Angele of Hanover, PA; two daughters in law, Gretchen Hebert of Easthampton; Suzanne Hebert of Granby, Quebec, Canada; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Rose was a wonderful and loving person and will be missed by her family. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday December, 1, 2012 from 8:30 – 10:30AM at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke, MA 01040. A Liturgy of Christian of Burial will be celebrated at 11AM in Our Lady of the Cross Church, Holyoke. The Burial and Rite of Committal will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery, South Hadley, MA.
