Rita B. Fagnant

Rita B. Fagnant 1925 � 2009 HOLYOKE � Rita B. (Trudeau) Fagnant, 84, died suddenly, Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at her home. She was born in Holyoke on June 1, 1925 to the late Alexander and Bertha (Blaine) Trudeau. Rita attended schools in Holyoke and was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church in Holyoke. She worked at the former Dorothy Dodd�s Department Store for many years. Rita will sadly be missed by her son, Robert Fagnant of Madrid, Spain; her brother, Rene Trudeau and his wife�Ruth of Chicopee; her two grandchildren; her great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves to cherish her memory her very dear friend, Edward Reynolds of Belchertown. A funeral procession will form on Saturday June 6 at 8:45 a.m. at the Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St, Holyoke followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church in Holyoke. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery in South Hadley. Calling hours will be Friday, June 5 from 4:00 p.m. � 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions, may be made in Rita�s memory, to a charity of one�s choice.
