Ramon Ortega

BANGOR, ME- Ramon Ortega, 21, formerly of Holyoke died July 16, 2016 in Bangor, Maine where he was working. He was born in Springfield, MA on February 1, 1995 the beloved son of Denise (Avanzato) Shaikh and Wilfred Ortega. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, playing video games and being a jokester. Many will miss his smiling face and his ability to care for others. In addition to his mom and dad, Ramon leaves behind: his step father, Vasim Shaikh of Holyoke; his siblings, William Ortega, Misty Ortega, Aida Ortega and Matthew Ortega; his grandfather, William Ortega of New York; many caring aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ramon will remain in the hearts of the many family and friends that he touched and is now welcomed home into eternal rest and everlasting Love. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 from 4-7PM in Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton Street, Holyoke, MA 01040. His funeral procession will begin on Tuesday at 8:15AM from the funeral home and be followed by the Rite of Committal and Burial in Precious Blood Cemetery, South Hadley.
