Rafael Rivera Colon

Holyoke – Rafael Rivera Colon, 36, of Holyoke, passed away at home on Friday September 15, 2023. He was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to Rafael Rivera and the late Miriam Colon, who passed in 2021.
Rafael was a 2006 graduate of Holyoke High School. He enjoyed playing video games, and the time he was able to spend with his favorite nephews.

Besides his father, Rafael, he is also survived by his sisters, Marian Rivera Colon and Yazmin Rivera Colon and his nephews, Dwayne, Dylan and Damian, all of Holyoke, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

Family and friends are invited to meet for calling hours on Thursday September 21, 2023 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke with an 11:00 AM service in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Rose Cemetery, South Hadley, MA
