HOLYOKE- Pearl C. (Plante) Tenczar, 85, passed away on November 10, 2014 at Baystate Medical Center. Pearl was born on March 15, 1929 in Springfield, MA. She retired from the Holyoke Schools. Pearl is predeceased by her husband Frank Tenczar; and two grandsons, Matthew Ryan and Jeffery Urban. She is survived by her son, John Tenczar and his wife Elsa of Chicopee; four daughters, Dianne Danielson of Chicopee, Francine Whitten and her husband Arthur of FL, Ann Urban and her husband Ed of East Longmeadow, and Marina and David Huse of Holyoke; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Calling hours for Pearl will be Friday, November 14 in the Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St, Holyoke from 4-7PM followed by a funeral home service at 7pm. A private burial will be at a later date in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, Section H, in South Hadley.
