Pauline (Simard) Talbot

Tribute
Holyoke - Pauline (Simard) Talbot, 88, of South Hadley passed away at Mary’s Meadow on February14, 2021. Pauline was born in Waterloo, Canada and grew up in Cowansville, Canada. She married Marcel Talbot (deceased in 2015) with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. After her marriage, she moved to Holyoke and became a US citizen in 2015. She was an expert seamstress and had her own business for many years.

She will be missed by her brother, Guy Simard of Holyoke, her sister, Lise Simard and her husband Gaétan Thibault of Cowansville, Canada, nieces, Mari-Eve and Julie, grandnieces and nephew, Leanne, Melina and Simon and her niece, Christine Fortier all of Canada. She also leaves her godchild, Sonya Enders and good friend, Myrna Blodgett and many cousins.

Special thanks to the staff at Mercy Caritas Center, Dr. Iyer, Beacon Hospice and the staff at Mary’s Meadow for the wonderful compassionate care given to Pauline. All services are private and burial will at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. Messier Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
