Holyoke – Paul Lawrence Tobiasz, 67, passed away on Friday April 1, 2022, at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. He was born in Holyoke to Edward and Joanne Tobiasz. Paul spent 38 years working for National Blank Book, a job he took much pride in. On his days off and after retirement, he enjoyed playing outdoors with his grandchildren and taking long walks.
Paul looked forward to football Sunday’s more than anything, especially when watching with his sons. His unique and often blunt sense of humor became a large part of his charm. To know Paul meant to be apart of his comedy routine, and it was an honor. Nothing or no one could come between him and a plate of food, unless it was mac and cheese.
He loved animals, especially dogs, and often became their favorite. Paul is survived by his mother, Joanne Tobiasz along with four brothers, Michael Tobiasz (Sue), Thomas Tobiasz (Vicky), Daniel Tobiasz and Robert Tobiasz (Jennifer).
He is also survived by his four children, Jeffrey (Michelle), Timothy (Piper), Patricia (Parish) and Nicholas (Jennifer). Paul leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Brieann, Mackenzie, Keira, Liam, Nora, Emily, Christopher, Emily, Jacob, and Mason. He also leaves his ex-wife Debbie Della Penna.
Family and friends are invited to meet for visitation on Friday April 8, 2022, from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at the Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke, MA. All services and burial will be private for the family. www.messierfuneralhome.com
