Patricia Allene Almeida (Ward, Couture) 1935-2017 Springfield - Born Holyoke December 28, 1935 to the late Albert and Catherine Ward. Predeceased by brother Albert L. Ward, sister Elizabeth J. McNeill and son Stephen M. Couture. She leaves 2 sons, Joseph L. A. Couture and David A. Couture; 2 daughters, Pamela J. Couture and Denise M. Maille; 8 grandchildren, Allison Cook, Dennis Cook, Jeremy Couture and his wife Paige, Maggie Couture and Joe Couture; 7 great grandchildren, Elijah, Serenity, Sebastian, Elizabeth, Morgan, Connor and Lenox; and 2 siblings, Rosemary C. Skelton(Ward) and her partner Tex Martin and brother Wallace J. Ward and his wife Mary. Special thanks to caregivers Allison S. Cook and Serenity V. Davila. Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 9AM -10:30AM at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke, MA 01040 followed by a funeral home service at 10:30AM.
