MILDRED M. (BRUNELLE) VIENS 1920-2018 HOLYOKE- Mildred (Brunelle) Viens, 97, of Holyoke, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. She was born in Holyoke on August 28, 1920, a daughter of the late George and Eva (Boyer) Brunelle. She was a proud graduate of Holyoke Business School and later worked in the payroll department at Holyoke Community College for over 25 years. Mildred enjoyed traveling, sunshine, and spending time with her family; she also volunteered for many years at the American Cancer Society. She is survived by her sister in law, Dorothy Brunelle, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 8-9:30AM at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton Street, Holyoke, MA, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10AM in Blessed Sacrament Church, Holyoke. The burial will be Notre Dame Cemetery, South Hadley. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mildred�s name may be made to Mount Saint Vincent Nursing Home, 35 Holy Family Road, Holyoke, MA 01040.
