Mrs. Marcelle (Barsalou) Mahoney, born on January 13, 1941 in Holyoke, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on June 2, 2018.
Marcelle was predeceased by her parents, Loretta (Beausejour) Barsalou and Armand Barsalou.
She attended Holyoke schools all of her life. She worked at the National Blank Book Company and New England Archives until retiring in 2008. Marcelle was the beloved wife of the late William Mahoney. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Perras and Maureen Jurkowski and her stepson, William Mahoney. She is also survived by her brother, Raymond Barsalou; sister, Anita Corwin and her granddaughters, Briana and Brooke Jurkowski. She also leaves behind her adored cat, Peanuts.
Marcelle loved life. She enjoyed camping, NASCAR races, playing cards, bingo and spending time with family and friends.

Friends and family can pay their respects at the calling hours on Thursday, June 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. with Funeral Home Service at 11:45 a.m. at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton Street, Holyoke. Immediately following, burial will be at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. in Agawam, Massachusetts.
