Marc J Busby

Westfield- Marc J. Busby, 28, was called home on September 1, 2016 after injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on RT 23 in Blandford. Marc was born on November 25, 1987 the beloved son of Joseph W. Busby Sr. of Westfield and Francine (Morin) Arceri of Pittsfield. He was educated in the Gateway School System and spent most of his life in Chester, MA area. Marc worked several area jobs, most recently as a Truck Driver for Prime Trucking. Marc loved the outdoors and spent many days Mud bogging, 4 wheeling, dirt biking and motorcycling through the hilltowns, fishing, and spending time with his family. In addition to his beloved parents, Marc is survived by his maternal grandparents Raymond and Carol Morin of Worthington; his paternal grandfather James E. Busby Jr. and his wife Ann of Independence, MO; his brothers, Anthony J. Busby and his wife Amy of Florida, Joseph Busby Jr. of Westfield; his sister, Christen Weaver of South Carolina; his niece and nephews, Sophia, Amir, Safe and Bailey. He will also be missed by several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother Anita (Brunault) Busby in 2011. Life Celebration hours will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 4-7PM at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke. Friends and family are asked to gather on Saturday, September 10, 2016 for an 11AM funeral home service. The burial will be private.
