Lorilee A. Morin

Belchertown- Lorilee A. Morin, 78, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2017. She was born in Holyoke on March 27, 1938 a daughter of the late David and Helen (Getler) Bain. After High School Lorilee graduated from Holyoke School of Nursing and enjoyed taking care of people while working in Holyoke, director of nursing at Milford Geriatric Authority, Milford, MA. Lorilee and her husband were co-founders of the Worcester Jazz Society. She loved playing the piano, celebrating her Scottish heritage, and spending time with her family. Lorilee was predeceased by her beloved husband of over 48 years, Gerard Robert Morin and her son Paul Morin. Lorilee is survived her daughters, Lisa Morin, Linda Austin-Morin and her wife Kim, and a daughter in-law Susan Morin. She will also be missed by her grandchildren; Jenni Lynn, Halie, Carolyn, Robby, Matthew, Daniel, Robert, Christopher, and a great granddaughter Kinsley Ann. She also leaves a sister Linda Petengill, several niece, nephews, and dear friends. A Life Celebration will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 1:30pm in the Messier funeral home. The burial will follow in the Forestdale Cemetery, Holyoke.
