Holyoke- Kimball Hastings, 59, formerly of Amherst passed away on April 6th from cardiac arrest. She was born in Manchester, N.H. on August 27, 1956, the daughter of Ann J. Hastings and Dr. Elliot Parker Hastings. She graduated from Amherst Regional High School in 1974 and graduated Cum Laude from Smith College in 1979 with a major in Economics. Kim loved skiing, reading, writing, exercising and traveling. She started her career by working as a comptroller for Nastar Skiing in Aspen, Colorado. She wrote a mystery novel titled ”Hair of the Dog”, developed an exercise program which she trademarked as MEGAEROBICS, and was an ACE certified personal trainer. She is survived by her sons, Jameson (Jamie) and Stephen Therrien whom she adored with all her heart. Their father, David Therrien, died in 2009. She is also survived by her sisters, Deborah Towle of Natick MA and Andrea McHenry of Milford MA as well as her nieces and nephews.
