Holyoke-Kendra E. Reyes, 32, of Holyoke, passed away unexpectedly on Dec.31, 2019. She was born in Holyoke on October 11, 1987, a beloved daughter of Francine Peterson and the late Ruben Reyes. She was also predeceased by her loving brother Carlos "Black" Rivera in 2018. She was a 2006 Graduate of Dean Tech High School. Kendra was well loved by all of her family and friends and known for her vivacious, loud, energetic personality and being a protector. She will be missed by her mother, Francine Peterson of Holyoke; her daughter; Kendalise Alicea of Holyoke. She also leaves a brother, Ceasar Torres of Holyoke, longtime friend, Mario Colon of Holyoke, her grandparents Carmen Rosario and Daniel Reyes of CT., her aunts, Dorenda, Mary-Jane, Shirley, Carmen, Amelia, and Milna, her uncles; Eddie, Henry, and Fredo, as well as many close cousins and several dear friends. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 930AM-1130AM at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton Street, Holyoke MA with a funeral home services at 11:30AM.
