Kazmiera Kopi

Holyoke – Mrs. Kazmiera “Charlotte” (Kazmierski) Kopi, 98, passed away on Sunday, January 10 in a local nursing home. She was born in Holyoke on November 14, 1911, the daughter of the late John and Anna (Banek) Kazmierski. She attended local schools and retired after twenty five years of service from the former American Pad and Paper Company. She was a member of the Holyoke Senior Citizens Club and the Polish American Citizens Club. She was the wife of the late Eugene Kopi who died in 1986. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Baxter and her husband William of South Hadley, and her sister, Joan Felton of Nevada. She will be sadly missed by two grandchildren, Erika Frado, and William T. Baxter Jr., two great grandchildren, Hunter William Frado, and Mia Frado, two nieces, Ann Marie Ottoson, and Edwina Mann. She was predeceased by three brothers, Frank, Edwin, and Edward. Funeral services are on Wednesday, January 13 at the Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St (Route 5) Holyoke, with a period of visitation from 9 -10am followed by a Service of Remembrance at 10am. Burial will be in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery in South Hadley.
