Julie Lilly O'Donnell

Rochester, NY � Julie �Lilly� O�Donnell, 64, of Rochester, NY, formerly of Holyoke passed away June 5, 2016. She was born in Holyoke Nov. 26, 1951 a daughter of the late Joseph and Annette Piekara and educated in Holyoke graduating from Precious Blood HS and continued her education at Fitchburg State College. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Dennis O�Donnell who passed away in 2009. Julie leaves her two sons, Sean O�Donnell of Phoenix, AZ and Brian O�Donnell of Rochester and his children, Nehemiah and Aiden. She also leaves her dear sister, Constance Pijar of Holyoke and her children, Mark and Gail. She will be missed by her Aunty Lu, cousin Ronnie and many wonderful cousins and friends. Julie will be remembered for her gentle spirit, great compassion and empathy for others. Julie was a voracious reader and was a die-hard Red Sox & Patriots fan, but most of all loved spending time with her sons &grandchildren and attending family gatherings. The Funeral Ceremony will begin on Friday June 10, from 4-7 PM at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial on Saturday beginning at 8:45AM from Messier, at 10AM in Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton Street, Holyoke.
