Juan C. Santos

Holyoke – Juan C. Santos, 57, of Holyoke, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 23, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. He was born in Cidra, Puerto Rico, son of Juan Colon and Maria Esther Santos.
Juan was a hardworking man, spending many years on the Tobacco Farms and most recently with Tempus Unlimited as a Personal Care Assistant.
Juan loved people and was a devoted provider for his family. He was a loving husband, father and excellent with his grandchildren, who will all miss him dearly.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Yolanda I. Cartagena of Holyoke; his four children, Jospeh Cartegena Colon, Giovany Colon, Yosmalise Colon and Carlos Acevedo, all of Holyoke; his four siblings, Maris Colon of Holyoke, Elizabeth Pizarro and her husband Abimael of Chicopee, Javier Lopez and his wife Marisol of Holyoke and Katherine
Santiago and her husband, Jose Santiago of Holyoke; his three grandchildren, Jelena, Jenayah and Jayvian and by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday July 29th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke, MA with a 7:00 PM service to be held in the funeral home. Burial will be private for the family.
