Jonathan Marchand

LONGMEADOW- Jonathan Andrew Marchand, 27, beloved son and brother, nephew and cousin passed away on June 17, 2013. He leaves his mother, Nancy (Cosgriff) Marchand ; his sister, Stephanie Hancock Marchand both of Longmeadow; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceeded in death by his father Gerard Marchand. Jon attended Longmeadow schools. After graduation in 2004, he attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Jon was a student of the world who was particularly interested in other cultures, world politics and philophies, travel and sports of all kinds. Although not a musician, music was an important part of his life. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 11:30AM at Elmcrest Country Club, 105 Somersville Rd., East Longmeadow, MA. The family invites all relatives and friends to share a meal and memories of Jon. Jonathan will be greatly missed.
