JOHN F. RICHTER, JR. 1955 -2012 HOLYOKE � John F. Richter, Jr., 56, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 in Chicopee. John was born in Holyoke and educated locally being the son of the late John Sr. and Bernadette (Heroux) Richter. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps as a private. John lived in Holyoke and Chicopee for many years and will be missed by many friends and caregivers. He had the famous title of �Kielbasa King� for several years during the Chicopee eating contest as he enjoyed the Polish specialty meat. John loved going to the movies and playing scratch tickets. He is survived by two aunts, Viola Frechette of Chicopee; Alberta Genereux of Chicopee and several cousins and dear friends. The Rite of Committal and Burial will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 11 AM in Notre Dame Cemetery, Lyman St. South Hadley in the St. Bernadette Section.
