John J. Pallotti, 78, passed away Sunday December 13, 2020 at Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer. Born in Patterson City, New Jersey to the late John and Wanda (Kabara) Pallotti, he attended Holyoke Schools. In 1991 he moved to live with his Aunt Helen and worked at several jobs including a General Laborer at Goodwill Industries. In 2008, he moved into a group home in Bondsville, MA and then eventually a group home in Belchertown. John was a very loving and personable person that could light up a room. He enjoyed telling stories about his past, listening to music, and watching movies. In particular, John really enjoyed watching western movies and listening to doowop music. John was also a really big “I Love Lucy” fan and loved animals of all kinds but especially dogs and horses. He enjoyed spending time swimming and singing in his “Travling band” and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. John leaves his friends, caregivers, including Lynn Adams as well as two nieces, Sharon Collins and Karen McCarthy. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by, his Aunt Helen Kuenzel. John will be laid to rest in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery in South Hadley. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
