Joann A. Leary

SPRINGFIELD- JoAnn A. Leary, 39, a longtime Holyoke resident passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2013 in Springfield, She was born in Holyoke on July 26, 1973 the beloved daughter of David J. Leary and his wife Shirley Leary of Holyoke. She was raised and educated in Holyoke Schools, attended Holyoke High School and received her GED. She worked for Tubed Products in Easthampton for several years and also assisted her significant other Donny Creighton in his business as a drywall contractor for several years. She came into the world like a bright shining star and her life was brilliant and full of energy. In addition to her devoted parents and , JoAnn will be missed dearly by her daughter, Brooke A. Heisler-Leary of Holyoke; three brothers, David A. Leary of Watertown, CT; Eugene D. Leary of Holyoke; Scott M. Leary of Holyoke and several nieces, nephews and cousins. JoAnn will also be missed by her dog “Bella”. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 4-7 PM at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke, MA 01040. Her funeral will begin on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 8:45AM from the funeral home and be followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10AM in Blessed Sacrament Church, Holyoke.
