WEST SPRINGFIELD- Jerard A. Ledoux, 90, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Jerard was born in Newport, VT on July 7, 1922 a son of the late Joseph and Amelia (Cormier) Ledoux. He enlisted in the U.S. Army during WWII and served honorably in Company C, 157th Infantry in combat in the European Theatre. Jerard worked for American Bosch and Kidder & Stacey in Agawam before his retirement in 1994. Jerard was a member of Bethany Assembly of God in Agawam for many years and also served as an usher. He was a member at the Agawam Senior Center and loved being around people. He was a patriotic man and had a lifetime of unwavering faith. Jerard is survived by his wife of 28 years Dora (Hoffmann) Hawley Ledoux of W. Spfld; seven children, Gerald Ledoux of Hardwick, MA; Carol-Ann Nelson of Southampton; Rachel King of Springfield; Charles Ledoux of Winstead, CT; James Hawley of Springfield; Donald Hawley of Westfield; David Hawley of Plymouth, MA; a brother Rene Ledoux of Saco, ME; 17 grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Monday morning, December 3, 2012 from 11AM until 12:30PM at Bethany Assembly of God, 580 Main St., Agawam, MA 01001 and be followed by the funeral service at 12:30PM in the chapel. The burial with military honors will follow at 2PM in the chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans� Memorial Cemetery. 1390 Main St., Agawam, MA 01001.
