Jeanne O'Connor

HOLYOKE- Jeanne Charlotte (Provost) O’Connor, 106, entered eternal peace and rest on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Mt. St. Vincent Care Center. She was born in Holyoke on June 23, 1906 a daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Pratt) Provost and educated in Holyoke Schools. Jeanne was a longtime employee at Mansir Holden as a sales clerk and also worked as a millenary. Jeanne was predeceased by her husband, John J. O’Connor in 1956. She was a longtime communicant of Immaculate Conception Church and was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann Society. Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Joanne Miklasiewicz and her husband Alex of Holyoke; two grandchildren, Tracy Shanahan of Suffield; Craig Miklasiewicz of Southampton; 4 great grandchildren; a brother, Camille Provost of South Hadley and several extended family members. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 11AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 54 N. Summer St., Holyoke.
