Jean Morsen

Holyoke � Jean H. (Wodecki) Morsen, 75, a longtime Holyoke resident, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016. She was born in Poland on September 27, 1941 a daughter of the late Stanley and Stephania Wodecki and educated in the Holyoke Schools and worked for over 30 years as a cost accountant at Ludlow Technical Products. She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed cooking, and trips to the casino. Jean is survived by her beloved husband John Morsen of 62 years, her 3 children; Robert and Tony Morsen and Edward Moczydlowski. She will also be missed by her 6 grandchildren, a great grandson who arrived just hours after her passing. She also leaves her siblings, Mike, Paul, Edward, and Andy Wodecki, Thersa Garrant, Rose Lagrand, and Hedy Orlick. She was predeceased by 4 siblings, Patricia Pelchat, Ann Bergeron, Mary Winiarski, and John Wodecki. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2016 from 8:30-10:00AM at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke and be followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11AM in Our Lady of the Cross Church, Holy Cross Ave Holyoke.
