Holyoke – Jean Carlos “Jon Jon” Laguer, 16, died on Sunday, September 5, 2010. He was born in Northampton on December 3, 1993, a son of Migdalia Rios and Carlos Laguer, Sr.. He was a freshman at Holyoke High School. He will be remembered as a jokester who loved to skateboard, and was loved and will be missed by many in the Holyoke community. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Carlos Laguer, Jr., his sister, Xenia Torres and her husband Emmanuel Delhoyo of Holyoke, maternal grandmother, Genonave Paneto of Springfield, paternal grandparents, Victoria Gonzales and Marcus Laguer of Boston, his niece, Mannilys Delhoyo and nephew Michael Licourt of Holyoke and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. The funeral procession will form on Friday, September 17 at 10:30am from the Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St. (Route 5) Holyoke followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12 noon at Immaculate Conception Church, 54 North Summer St., Holyoke. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours at the funeral home are on Thursday, September 16 from 4 – 8 pm.
