Janice Ruth Bouchard

Janice Ruth (Langevin) Bouchard, 76, of Chicopee, passed away Tuesday January 24, 2023, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was born in Holyoke, MA to Roy E. and Esther (Becher) Langevin and was a graduate of Chicopee High School. Janice was employed as an Office Administrator and Bank Teller for several local businesses in the area. She had a very happy-go-lucky personality and always cared for others before herself. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Theodore Bouchard, her brother, John Langevin and sister-in-law, Nancy Langevin. She is survived by her brothers, David Langevin and his wife Carol of Chicopee and Kraig Langevin of Gastonia, NC; sister-in-law, Judy Langevin of East Longmeadow and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. All are invited to meet for calling hours on Tuesday January 31st from 5 – 7 PM at the Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke, MA. Janice’s funeral service will be Wednesday February 1st at 10 AM at the funeral home, followed by committal services in Forestdale Cemetery, Cabot St., Holyoke. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Janice’s memory to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 34 Jarvis Ave. Holyoke, MA 01040 or to the charity of one’s choice.
