WEST SPRINGFIELD – James M. Bolduc, 62, died Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Holyoke on February 19, 1948 to the late Gilbert B. and Emiline G. (Lefebvre) Bolduc. He attended schools in Holyoke and graduated from Holyoke High School in 1967. He furthered his studies at STCC where he earned his Associate Degree. Jim served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for most of his life at Baystate Gas where he retired after twenty years of service. Jim had a passion for music since he was a child and played electric bass for many different local bands. Jim leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Luci (Stone) Bolduc of West Springfield. They were blessed with thirty-eight years of happiness. He will also be sadly missed by his step-son, William Theriot of Daytona Beach, FL; his brother, Gilbert W. Bolduc and his wife Karen of Chicopee; his sister, Eve C. Lamirande of Tampa, FL and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Messier Funeral Home 1944 Northampton St. Holyoke. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jim’s memory, to the Holyoke High School Music Fund, 303 Beech St. Holyoke, MA 01040.
