Hermine Pietruski

East Longmeadow- Hermine M. Pietruski, 93, a longtime Holyoke resident, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016. She was born in Holyoke on September 25, 1923 a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Gargasz) Szarek and educated in the Holyoke Schools. Hermine worked as a medical secretary for several doctors in Holyoke and retiring in 1986 from Dr.Susat. She was predeceased by her husband John J. Pietruski in 1977. Hermine loved her polish heritage, she enjoyed cooking, listing to music, and spending time with her family. Hermine will be missed by her loving nieces, nephews, and all of their families, and a godson Dan Park. She was predeceased by her 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 9-10:30AM at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke and be followed by a funeral Home service at 10:30AM.
