George Henry Lalumiere, 54, of West Springfield passed away on February 19, 2026. He was born on January 1, 1972, in Springfield to Maurice and Flora Lalumiere.
George attended Chicopee Public Schools and later worked at Pelican Products in South Deerfield, MA. He generously gave his time volunteering with Special Olympics an experience that reflected his kind and giving spirit.
A devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox, George proudly supported his team through every season. He will be remembered for his loyalty, his warmth, and the joy he brought to those around him.
He is survived by his brother, Maurice Lalumiere Jr.; his wife, Kimberly; and their children, Erica Rose, Hilary Talbot, Alicia Bourdeau, Joel Kibbe, and Megan Lalumiere. George is also survived by his former wife Melissa Grasakis- Lalumiere and her family.
George now rests reunited with his father, Maurice; his mother, Flora; and his brother, Francis. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, March 12, 2026, for visitation for George from 3 – 5:30PM at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke, followed by a service in the funeral home at 5:30PM. Burial for George will be private at Oak Grove Cemetery in Springfield.
