Estelle Barbara Brin (LaRocque), age 94, peacefully passed away on August 29, 2026, after a long and wonderful life. She was one of ten children, born in Holyoke, MA on 9/14/1931, daughter of the late Francis & Hattie Larocque. She was educated in Holyoke and worked as a secretary for a local dental company. Barbara married her soulmate, Anthony Brin, on June 14, 1952.

When she wasn't driving around on their BMW motorcycle with their kids in the sidecar, you could find her bowling, dancing, traveling, gardening, knitting, crocheting and crafting. Family was always her true love. Barbara will be dearly missed by her three children: Lynda (Dida) (Brin) Hagan of MA; Tonie Laliberte and her husband Peter of FL; Terie Fleury and her husband Rick of FL; her beloved grandchildren, Emily Hagan and partner Nick Foden; Wesley Hagan and wife Monique; Ashley Wojnarowski and fiancé Michael Mezzacapo; Chloe Stomski and her husband Anthony; Spencer Laliberte; Blake Laliberte; Kurtis Laliberte. She will be remembered by five great-grandchildren; Lucy Stomski, Josephine Stomski, Victoria Stomski, Harrison Foden and Margaret Hagan. Barbara also joins her angel great-grand baby Stanley Stomski. She is survived by her sister Charlotte Fountain of FL, her brother Duffy Kennedy of VA, and her sister-in-law Marie Brodowski of FL. She adored a huge family of lovable nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on October 18, 202 from 4-6 PM at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke, MA. Her funeral will begin on October 19, 2026, at 8:30 AM from Messier's with a 9:00 AM mass at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 1945 Northampton St., Holyoke, MA. The Rite of Committal and Burial will follow at 11:00 am in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Agawam.
