Emily C. Wilhelmi

Emily C. Wilhelmi 1917 � 2010 HOLYOKE � Emily C. Wilhelmi, 92, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Wingate at West Springfield. She was born in Holyoke on May 26, 1917 to the late Christian and Christina (Martin) Wilhelmi. Emily attended schools in Holyoke and worked for General Cleaners where she retired after thirty years of service. She was a communicant of the First Lutheran Church in Holyoke where she was very active in many church activities. Emily enjoyed baking Pumpkin Bread and sharing with others. She leaves to cherish her memory her five nephews, Alfred Wilhelmi, Jr., Thomas Wilhelmi, George Keegan, Jr., Douglas Adams and William Adams; her niece, Dorothy Perreault and her several great nieces and nephews. Emily was predeceased by her five brothers, John, Philip, Arthur, Henry and Alfred and her three sisters, Lillian Adams, Helen Zolocha and Florence Keegan. There will be a Service of Remembrance on Monday, January 25, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St, Holyoke. Burial will follow the Service in Forestdale Cemetery in Holyoke. A calling hour will precede the Service from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Emily�s memory, to First Lutheran Church, 1810 Northampton St., Holyoke, MA, 01040.
