ELIZABETH A. WOTTON 1927 - 2017 HOLYOKE- Elizabeth �Betty� (Driscoll) Wotton, 89, a lifelong Holyoker entered into eternal rest and peace on Monday, March 20, 2017 at her home. Betty was blessed with a life of commitment to others, a deep devotion to her faith and a great love for her family. She was born in Holyoke on June 16, 1927 a daughter of the late Edward P. and Luella (Ross) Driscoll and educated in Sacred Heart School. Betty devoted many years to the Jericho Community as an office manager where she was involved in every aspect of the communities� life. Betty was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church and a devoted Catholic. Betty is survived by her husband of 65 years, Frank H. Wotton II with who she shared so much love. She leaves behind her loving family to continue her legacy of caring for others including her husband Frank of Holyoke; a son, Mark Wotton and his partner Jayne of Holyoke; her daughter, May McCarthy and her husband Patrick of Holyoke and a son, Frank H. Wotton III and his wife Nilda of Holyoke. She was also predeceased by an angel, her daughter Christine Marie Wotton in 1963. She is survived by her ten adored grandchildren, April Rist, Karen Kent, Jeremy Wotton, Helvya Santiago, Vanessa Bonilla, Frank Wotton IV, Erin Duffy, Andrew McCarthy, Noa Wotton, and Zoe Wotton. Betty also leaves behind nine cherished great grandchildren; three sisters, Marylou Moulton of OH; Joan Consedine of Holyoke and Janet Driscoll of Holyoke as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and dear friends. All are invited to her Life Celebration services on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 8:15AM-10:15AM at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke. , MA 01040. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will follow at 11AM on Friday in Blessed Sacrament Church, Holyoke with the Rite of Committal and Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Holyoke.
