Elizabeth Roberta Tapp

ELIZABETH R. TAPP 1929-2012 SPRINGFIELD- Elizabeth R. (Guimond) Tapp, 82, died on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center. She was a former longtime Holyoke resident and most recently resided in Chicopee. Elizabeth was born in Holyoke on November 18, 1929, a daughter of the late Ernest E. and Emma Rose (Beauregard) Guidmond. She was educated in Holyoke schools and graduated from Holyoke Community College with an Associates degree in accounting. Elizabeth was also predeceased by in 1/19/08 by her loving husband of 55 years Roger J. Tapp and two brothers Ernest and Louis Guidmond. She will be sadly missed by four sons, Roger J. Tapp, Jr. and his wife Karen of Danville, PA; Jeffrey E. Tapp and his wife Donna of Chicopee; Gregory W. Tapp and his wife Susan of Springfield; and Francis J. Tapp and his wife Debbie of South Hadley; her sister Jacqueline Scavotto of Agawam; her adored grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many friends and loving extended family members. The family request that relatives and friends meet at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton St., Holyoke, on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 11:30 AM for a Liturgy of Christian Burial. Committal services will follow at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam. There are no calling hours.
