Edward E. Pike, Sr.

1941-2025

Edward Earl Pike, Sr., 84, of Holyoke, passed away peacefully at home on Monday November 10, 2025, with his loving family at his side.

Edward was born in Holyoke on April 28, 1941, a son of Henry and Beatrice (Harnois) Pike. He was a graduate of Holyoke High School and served his country honorably in the United States Army.

Edward was employed as an Engineer for Ludlow Corp. and then later at Hazen Paper Company where he retired as Plant Manager.

Edward was a hard worker but always enjoyed time away camping with his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Edward also liked comic books and model airplanes.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Linda (Essman) Pike of Holyoke; his children, Tammy Gauthier, Edward Pike, Jr., Kevin Stewart, Roger Pike, Kerry Jones and Jamie Pike; many siblings; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

All services for Edward will be private, and burial will be held in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Agawam, MA.
