Donna Mae Keach

1932-2026

Southampton - Donna Mae (Smalley) Keach, 93, of Southampton, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Donna was born in Lakeview, Oregon on September 13, 1932, daughter of Donald and Audrey Mae (Lewis) Smalley. Donna was raised in Placerville, California, graduating from El Dorado High School. She later moved to Massachusetts and attended the Western Mass Hospital Nursing School where she studied for her LPN degree. Throughout her career, she worked as a Surgical Nurse for Noble Hospital in Westfield, MA. Donna will be remembered as a very faithful woman both spiritually and with her family. To her, family and God, always came first. She often could be found attending church and spending time with her family, who were her pride and joy. She cherished every moment she spent with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family. She also loved to travel making many wonderful memories. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Donald Keach, Jr. in 2009; by her son-in-law, Bruce Butman in 2022 and by her grandson, Jeffrey Keach in 2012. She is survived by her four children, Toni Butman of Southampton, Robert Keach and his wife Anne of Holyoke, MA, Steve Keach and his wife Karen of El Dorado Hills, CA, and Scott Keach and his wife Kelley of Chapin, SC; her brother, David Smalley of Reno, NV; five grandchildren, and six great-granddaughters.
