Diane Marie Richard, 64, beloved wife of 37 years of David P. Dejordy, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield with her family at her side.
Diane was born on December 16, 1959, in Springfield, MA, a daughter of Leo and Marie (Parenteau} Richard.
She was raised and educated in Chicopee and was a graduate of Chicopee High School, before becoming a longtime resident of Southampton.
Diane was a cook for several years at Hampshire Regional High School.
She was a loving and caring wife, mother, friend, and grandmother. Her presence will be deeply missed.
Diane is survived by her loving husband, David of Southampton, sons, David R. Dejordy of Southampton, and Brian Heroux of Chicopee, grandsons, Jayden and Dominic Heroux, brother, Richard and his wife, Maggie of Brooksville, FL, best friends, Donna and Cheryl and many other extended family members and friends.
Calling hours for Diane will be held on Thursday, February 15, from 4 – 6:30 PM at Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St. Holyoke, followed by funeral home service at 6:30 PM celebrating her life. Burial will be private. For online condolences please visit www.messierfuneralhome.com
