David Walter Therrien

HOLYOKE- David W. Therrien, 55, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Western Mass Hospital. David was born in Chicopee, MA on December 13, 1955 a son of the late Kenneth and Sally (Murdza) Therrien and was a graduate of Holyoke Trade School. David was a machinist for over 15 years at Milton Bradley before retiring due to disability. David enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking and was an outdoorsman. He loved camping at Mohawk State Park, was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, and was an avid Bingo player. Throughout his disability, David still enjoyed life and was always telling a joke and loved to interact with the caring staff at WMass Hospital. David is survived by his two daughters, Danielle Therrien of New Bedford, MA; Sarah Therrien of Chicopee; his granddaughter, Neeley Rondeau. David also leaves his caretaker and devoted brother Mitchell K. Therrien of Chicopee; a brother, Daniel R. Therrien of Chicopee; a brother, Richard P. Therrien and his wife Katherine of Westfield; a sister in law, Kimberly Therrien of Springfield as well as several caring nieces, nephews and extended family members. The funeral services are all private and under the care of Messier Funeral Home, Holyoke.
