David G. Mill 1936 � 2011 HOLYOKE � David G. Mill, 74, died Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Umass Medical Center in Worcester. He was born in Holyoke on February 2, 1936 to the late James and Dorothy Mill. David attended schools in Holyoke and graduated from Holyoke Trade School. Mr. Mill proudly served our country in the United States Army. David worked as a printer for many different local manufacturing companies. He was a member of the Holyoke Turn Hall on South Bridge St. and truly enjoyed watching his old movies on AMC. David leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Robert Mill of Palmer, Alaska; his step-son, Kevin Anderson of Indian Orchard; his step-daughter, Cheryl Eaton of Springfield; his former wife, Barbara Moran of Holyoke and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Calling hours will be Friday, January 7, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St. Holyoke. A Service of Remembrance will take place at 7:30 p.m. during the calling hours. Burial will be on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Forestdale Cemetery, Cabot St. Holyoke. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in David�s memory, to St. Peter�s Lutheran Church, 34 Jarvis Ave. Holyoke, MA 01040.
