Christine Ann (Andras) Balise, 68, beloved wife of Brian A. Balise, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton at the age of 68.
Christine was born on July 14, 1956, in Springfield, MA, a daughter of Robert and Patricia (Meunier) Andras, she was a lifelong resident of Holyoke.
She was employed by the state of Massachusetts for several years as a Foster Parent and a loving and committed caregiver to her brother, Gary.
She loved the simple things in life that included spending time with her family and grandchildren. Other hobbies included shopping, pedicures with her daughter and her love for jewelry. Christine always liked to be fancy.
Christine leaves her husband, Brian, and daughter, Tammi Flagg both of Holyoke, her sons, Matthew Flagg of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Derrick Balise of Holyoke, brother Gary Andras of Holyoke, sister, Patricia Eichstaedt of Holyoke, and her cherished grandchildren, Logan, Devan, Brenden, Brooke, Luke, Josh and Brianna Balise, Sean and Daisy and her furbaby pug, Misu.
