Chicopee, MA – Carole Ann (Oparowski) Wiggin passed away January 9, 2022 and her loving husband Wallace Lee Wiggin passed away February 11, 2022.

Wallace served his country honorably in the United States Air Force serving during Korea as an Airman First Class. On November 29, 1965, Carole and Wallace were married, spending 56 wonderful years together.

Together they had two daughters, Karen Brown and her husband, David and Cindy Wiggin as well as two adored grandchildren, Taylor and Haley Brown. Carole leaves her siblings, Ronnie, Richard, Dorothy and Jeanie, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Carole was predeceased by her brother, Eddie and Wallace was predeceased by his siblings, George Beck, Virginia Hyland, Ardelle Blood, Ralph Wiggin, Fred Wiggin, Stanley Wiggin, Edward Wiggin, and Charlie Wiggin.

Carole and Wallace lived in Chicopee for many years and were members of Mountain View Valley Baptist Church.

Family and friends are invited to meet for a period of visitation on Friday April 15, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Messier Funeral Home, 1944 Northampton St., Holyoke, with a 12:30 p.m. service in the funeral home. A committal service with Military Honors will be held for the immediate family at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
