Bonnie Duquette

Bonnie J. Duquette, of Chicopee, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Holyoke Medical Center at the age of 63.
Bonnie was born on November 5, 1959, in Holyoke, MA, daughter of Normand and Patricia (Cameron) Duquette, she was raised and educated in Holyoke and was a graduate of Holyoke High School.
Bonnie was former Housing Advisor for the Federal Government Housing. Most recently she was a compassionate driver for Meals on Wheels delivering meals to homebound seniors.
She was a former member of the Holyoke Turnverein, a place where she enjoyed to bowl with other members and friends.
Bonnie was also fond of the slot machines at the casino.
She was a good hearted, compassionate person who put other people’s interests before hers.
Bonnie loved all animals, especially cats and dogs.
She leaves behind her loving companion, of over 20 years, Ronald H. Tindell of Chicopee, niece, Lynda C. Sumoski of Feeding Hills, nephew, John N. Duquette of South Hadley, and grandnieces and nephews, Jazmin, James, and John Brouillard, and great grandnieces and nephews, Josiah, Isabella and Junior, and by her kids, Peanut, her cat, and dog, Rudy as well as her stray cat, Boots.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Cameron J. Duquette in 2021.
A memorial service for Bonnie will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours, and her burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bonnie’s name may be made to your nearest animal shelter. www.messierfuneralhome.com
