Barry S. Mongeau

Barry S. Mongeau 1950 � 2009 Westfield � Barry S. Mongeau, 59, a thirty year Westfield resident, died suddenly on Sunday, May 3rd at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton. He was born in Holyoke on March 13, 1950, a son of the late Joseph and Claire (Guyott) Mongeau. He attended Holyoke schools and was a graduate of Holyoke High School. He was self-employed as a heavy equipment mechanic. Barry will be remembered as a faithful friend of many and for the love of his animals. He was an outdoorsman who loved farming his land and an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed collecting and restoring antique farm equipment. He is survived by his brother, Bryan Mongeau and his fianc�e Sharon Allen of Westfield, and his sister, Lauren Levreault and her husband David of South Hadley. He will be sadly missed by one niece, several nephews and many friends. A celebration of his life will be held�at the convenience of the family�at the �Brickyard�. There are no calling hours.
