Barbara Sims

HOLYOKE- Barbara C. Sims, 74, of Holyoke, died May 6, 2014 at the Holyoke Medical Center. She was born June 8, 1939 in Holyoke, and was the daughter of the late George and Agnes (Fitzgerald) Sims. Barbara was educated in the Holyoke Schools System and graduated from Elms College in 1962. She was an elementary teacher with the Holyoke Public Schools for 37 years, retiring in 1999. Barbara leaves her sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Eugene Sullivan of South Hadley and two nieces. All funeral services are private at St. Rose Cemetery.
